The PADI Rescue Diver course prepares you to handle dive emergencies with confidence — whether it’s recognizing stress in a buddy or managing real rescue scenarios. You’ll become a more aware, responsible, and capable diver, ready to help others and yourself when needed.
This course is often described as the most rewarding and empowering step in your scuba journey. It combines hands-on practice, realistic scenarios, and lots of teamwork in a supportive learning environment.
About the Course
The Rescue Diver course focuses on accident prevention, self-rescue, and emergency management. You’ll train in both shallow water and open water conditions, guided by your instructor every step of the way.Through roleplay, simulations, and skill drills, you’ll learn how to anticipate, prevent, and respond to a wide range of diving problems — calmly and effectively.

Requirements:
- Minimum age: 12 years old (for Junior Rescue Diver)
- Must have a PADI Advanced Open Water certification (or equivalent)
- Must have completed EFR (Emergency First Response) training within 24 months (Don't have it yet? We offer EFR as part of a bundle!)
- Good health, strong swimming skills, and confidence in the water
