About the Course
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is your next step after Open Water — designed to build confidence, expand your diving skills, and unlock new dive sites.You’ll complete 5 adventure dives, including Deep and Navigation, plus three others like Peak Performance Buoyancy, Wreck, or Drift (based on location and conditions). Each dive introduces a new concept, specialty, or challenge — helping you grow as a diver while exploring more of Phuket’s underwater world.The course is hands-on and experience-based, with less classroom time and more actual diving.
What you will learn
- Deep Diving – Safely explore depths down to 30 metres (100 feet)
- Underwater Navigation – Use a compass and natural navigation techniques
- Peak Performance Buoyancy – Control your trim, hovering, and air use
- Wreck Diving (optional) – Discover and explore sunken structures
Requirements:
- Must have a PADI Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent)
- Minimum age: • 12 years old for Junior Advanced • 15 years old for full Advancedr
- Be in good health and comfortable in the water
- No prior specialty dives required — we teach everything step-by-step!
