About the Course
The Night Diver Specialty is designed for divers who want to safely experience scuba diving after dark. With limited light and a completely different ambiance, you’ll learn techniques for orientation, buddy contact, and light handling. See coral polyps feeding, encounter nocturnal hunters, and watch how the reef changes at night!
What you will learn
- Dive planning, organization, procedures, and techniques for night diving
- How to use dive lights properly and signal in the dark
- Navigation and orientation at night
- Nocturnal aquatic life behavior and environmental awareness
Requirements:
- Minimum certification: PADI Open Water Diver
- Minimum age: 12 years old
- Good buoyancy control recommended
- Basic comfort in open water conditions
